Our Story
MediZen is a community run grassroots organisation formed over 6 years of collective healing, unlearning, learning, love and pain. We’ve held hundreds of community gatherings and events and through the ups and downs, the deaths and rebirths, we emerge proudly as the MediZen Network!
Our aim is to create a global web of trusted holistic healers, therapists and communities rooted in cultural and spiritual practices, having an authentic, natural approach to their offerings. Most of all truth! We believe in eldership, community and family and we’re inviting all who feel the call to make a change, to join us in creating this global web.
The foundation of our work is centered around the healing, restoration and liberation of black and brown communities by creating spaces that are led by us, for us.

I needed this retreat, being in a new environment gave me space to think differently. The participants and facilitators created a nurturing environment to grow in. Everything was intentional with lots of tools that helped us find some peace within ourselves. I particulaly appreciate the time given on the last day to talk through integration and aftercare, as that can often be overlooked.
